We liked the privat beach a lot. The area is not crowded at all. Also the pool a gray place to hang out. It was perfect to relax.

The location is perfect for a chilled holiday! The facilities they have ensure that, if you’d like to just stay and relax there, you are able to(there’s two swimming pools, direct access to the beach, bar, restaurant…). I have never felt this welcomed before by staff, they really make you feel welcome and help with any problem/queries you might have. They also organise tours from the property. Food in the restaurant is great.

The hotel was lovely, I liked that everything was just a few steps away from the room: the pool, the restaurant and the beach. The room was very spacious and the housekeeping service was impeccable. Not forget to mention that the whole staff were super friendly and welcoming!

Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family.
Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. We loved every minute of our stay at Kiwengwa.

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.
I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.
Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

Front Office led by Victor was outstanding and exceeded our expectations
The restaurant and other staff were extremely courteous and helpful in all circumstances.
The Food and Beverager Manager Zablon is a kind and focused man, results oriented.
The choice was made because we like to discover new dishes and tastes in different countries, and it was a top place for the photos found on social media. The restaurant is definitely the best we had on our route in Zanzibar - bravo to the chef and the entire team. All dishes exceeded our expectations - delicious, fresh ingredients, large portions, amazing decorations. Everything else about the hotel was not something unique - just good and comfortable with an ocean view. So, I'm giving my 10 points to the kitchen.
The hotel is a true gem. It is on the southern part of Kiwengwa village, which is very calm and has a beautiful beach right in front. The property has a very nice beach area with hammocks, loungers and mattresses where you can hang out at the beach the whole day.
The food was exceptional, portion size and taste wise. And not to forget the staff, who were all very kind, attentive and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We fully recommend staying at this hotel in this beautiful hidden gem part of the island.
It was our first time in Zanzibar and having picked the place online, we were really impressed by the inclusive nature of the resort. It is truly an amazing holiday resort and it is probably the best value for money hotel in Kiwengwa. The staff are very friendly and all embody the Hakuna Matata spirit of Zanzibar. Harry at the reception particularly went out of his way to make our stay pleasurable and memorable.
One can truly enjoy a fantastic holiday with minimal activities outside the resort.
Our 3 night stay in white dream was perfect. It is a small intimate hotel, beautifully designed and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The pool is a big plus as the tide is sometimes capricious. Restaurant was very good and the menu offered various choices, we ended up having all of our meals there. We were not sure about staying in kiwengwa because the beaches are not as dreamy as in Nungwi or Paje but we did not regret for a second our stay in this peaceful haven.
The property is absolutely stunning - such a peaceful place with amazing surroundings. But what impressed us more was the hospitality of Davies and Paola. They were very flexible with early check-in/late check-out and payment settlement. Davies was always around for anything we may ask! Super attentive, hospitable, and helpful. We really felt like guests at someone’s home.
We definitely recommend this option for stay in Zanzibar - the reality will exceed your expectations.
The place is great and the staff sooo nice. We had beautiful holidays in kiwengwa beach resort ! Just in front of the beach and with 3 big pools inside so you can choose your favorite place. It was perfect. There were a lot of activities organised by the hotel, big clean room in front of the beach and/of of a pool, big buffet with a lot of choices… We had also 3 different massages at the spa for a very good price. It was amazing and I ll come back for sure !!
Our stay was smooth and quite nice, after staying in different hotels in Zanzibar I know when I find a gem and Boho boutique hotel is one of them. Daniel and Roxana makes you feel immediately at home. Their such a nice host.
The hotel is clean, modern and stylish just very close to the beach. Amazing for a Zanzibar vacation of your dreams. Thank you Daniel, Roxanna and the team for hosting us, we will surely come back again!
Regards,
Leo and Sabrina
Velue for money for sure!
The staff is amazing and always helpful and thoughtfull. Ive never had such good care in no other western hotel. This is a true jam.
Special thanks for receptionist Dida! Such welcoming, always smiling and gives her 120% at all times.
Thank you kitchen team, bar team, house keeping and just everyone.
Will definitely come back to this place, full of great energy and love.
Value for money. Loved the beachy vibes; stepping out our door, feet in the sand, straight to the beach. The food was delicous and we enjoyed reading a book in the hammocks. Chantal also helped us out with information about activities and provided tips for our further trip in Zanzibar. Truly recommend this place and restaurant when staying in the Kiwengwa area.
A well located, family-vibe resort popular with Italians, with its own beautiful private beach and beach bar serving delicious pizzas and cocktails. There were a generous amount of comfortable beach loungers with shade and shielding from constant beach selling. Breakfasts were delicious if standard and modest for Zanzibar. Food was generally very good.
The location is really nice. Even though the hotel itself is not really at the beach ( they have a beach bar and the hotel is like 100 m further), that beach is the best one we've seen in Zanzibar. The rooms were clean and food was decent. The ac was working fine and water in the shower was hot. Internet was good.
Excellent hotel in an incredible setting. Great facilities, room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food with different choices for dinner every night. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much and recommend 100% if staying in Zanzibar.
the Hotel is really tiny! (5 rooms total) Which is nice, personnel knows you, knows what you like and you know them as well. Short way to breakfast, to the pool or reception. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and supporting. If you need something, there is always somebody to help.
Very beautiful hotel in a calm and less touristic area of Zanzibar! We had the top floor room with sea view for our honeymoon and we were amazed! The staff is also very helpful and caring, they even came to our room in the evenings to spay for mosquitos and fix the net of the bed!
Staff was very friendly, invorment was nice, hotel's beach was clean and very cosy, on the beach there were hotel's bar, is this bar work several guys, there are very kind, friendly and professional.
truly an oasis of enjoyment ….
staff / facilities - there is nothing but positive things to say - having been to the Maldives - Meliá in Zanzibar is in my view superior
the hotel was amazing the staff are very nice special thanks to chiku eveline they made our stay good. we want also to thank chaimae for her care during the whole stay
location right on the beach, infinity pool, wonderful breakfast and dinner, friendly staff, the beach is quite quiet in comparison to other Zanzibar beaches.
