Great location on Chapel Street. Restaurants, Tesco & shopping within walking distance. Really helpful and friendly staff. Option for cooked breakfast comes with the cost of the room + coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, and cereal items too. Friendly and helpful staff. Front desk helped us get a taxi, which was very nice. Overall good experience.
With wonderful views across Penzance Bay, Hotel Penzance offers award-winning cuisine and boutique bedrooms. Guests can relax in the swimming pool in the Mediterranean-style gardens.

Room with sea view. Breakfast was optional, I liked that. Also the price was reasonable.

I liked the artwork and the decor of the inn. It was very convenient to have a lounge for an early breakfast or evening dinner/drink. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was great with a heated towel holder and rainfall shower. I also loved the natural lotions and soaps that were free. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.
Located by Penzance beach, and 5 minutes’ walk from the town center, The Queen's Hotel features a restaurant with views across Mount's Bay, St.

The living room and breakfast room are beautiful. Lots of breakfast choices and the hot foods are well prepared and delicious.

Fabulous town, it’s got culture, it’s got architecture, it’s got a great rugby club, it’s got a busy harbour’ it’s got great cafes and restaurants, a stunning promenade and a lot more besides!
Check out what’s going on at The Acorn Theatre which is brilliant.
For a shortish trip see what’s on at The Minack. Best beaches are Sennen, Porthcurno, the Lelant ones, the St. Ives ones, Hayle Towans and Praa Sands. Perranuthnoe beach is good at low tide.
Go to St Ives by train - the view from St Erth into St Ives is breathtaking !

Glad we got tickets for the Minack Theatre and explored the Gobal Telecommunications Museum, took the Coaster bus several tiimes, including to Land's End and walked the Coastal path to Sennen. Enjoyed the Penlee art gallery, especially in the midst of reading "Summer in February." Enjoyed a meal at the oldest pub, and at the Longboat Inn. The staff at the Info Centre were the best - gave us so many tips and set us on the right buses.

i like walking on the promenade, along to Newlyn, took the Mounts Bay coast path to Marazion, took the bus to Trengwainton gardens- lovely to see the magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias - interesting walks round the gardens and a lovely cafe with friendly staff and good food.
Visited Trewidden gardens by bus and also took the train to St. Ives- a lovely scenic run along the coast.
Penzance town has a nice selection of shops and it is worth exploring the back streets and the area round Chapel street. On previous visits have been to the Morrab gardens and other parks. Penzance is easy to walk round, has a good bus service and the tourist information staff are very knowledgable and helpful.

Went in the end of February, it was a quiet time with everything closing by 10pm, and last buses leaving early, but it's just as lovely if not more so as any other time of the year could be. Even for hiking, if you get ready for the wind, the rain, the fog, the mud and the cold.

We came in February so not very busy.
We came in February so not very busy. Many places to walk around, lovely garden in the center of town. Great beach, St Michael's Mount very close by. St Ives also not far away. Great place as a bae to see Cornwall.
A five star stay with Ali and Mike and Elvis the dog . They were gracious hosts, the room was excellent in decor size cleanliness. I can’t remember ever having a better stay, both myself and Steph my wife would like to thank our hosts for a great stay and a much needed break. We would like to congratulate them on
achieving the no.1 slot of all the guest houses in the Penzance area for quality and value - a well deserved accolade for all their hard work. Can recommend Holbein House to everyone thinking of staying - five stars ! ***** 😀
The Queens Hotel is in an ideal position on the Penzance Promenade and one can see that it has been in existence for very many years and it's very good that it still attracts customers and doing business. It would be missed if it were not around.
The staff were courteous and nice and the breakfast was ample and nutritious.
We had a one night stay and the distance from Penzance rail station was only a short taxi ride away.
It will certainly be our destination if we need to stay in Penzance in future.
Very close to the excellent Praa sands beach. A modern and comfortable flat, fully equipped with everything needed for self-catering. Even some games in the living room cupboard. Very clean, and a very friendly and prompt service.
Excellent location close to the beach, and in easy driving distance to supermarkets, to Penzance, the Penwith peninsula and to Porthleven. You can start walking the coast path straight from where you are towards Porthleven. To be warmly recommended. We had a great time!
The Union Hotel has bags of character and historical significance. It feels like an old building that has seen grand days. It's worth taking some time to look at old photos on the wall, read up on the history of the various rooms, and explore the old features. It was tidy, clean, and in a great location for Penzance attractions, for St Michael's Mount, Lands End and the Minnack Theatre. The shower was excellent and the breakfast was very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I have stayed at the Longboat several times at this time of year and always enjoyed being there. A great team running this place. Nice rooms and nice breakfasts. Superbly located for Penzance railway station, bus station and Penzance itself. Appreciate the low key approach to New Year’s Eve. Could not recommend the Longboat more highly for an enjoyable stay in West Cornwall, with such an excellent location to explore much that this area has to offer.
Parking available for 2 or 3 cars round the back of the hotel - opposite tennis courts, or on street with no restrictions. Great shared facilities which are ideal for bringing back a takeaway and using the glasses provided for wine etc. Huge wooden dining table.
Room perfectly clean and spacious. Great to use the TV to log into Netflix and Wi-Fi works perfectly.
A great place to stay in Penzance. We'll be back again to further explore coastal areas.
The continent breakfast which was included was very sparse only one waiter on who did his best but every thing ran out , the bathroom flooded every time you had a shower, the room was big and bed comfortable, the tv was very hard to work out, why can’t you just press 1/2/3 as it used to be ? The view was very good but it was up a very steep hill to get to the hotel which when you walk there from the train station with luggage it is quite hard
My wife and I stayed at the Coldstreamer Inn for two nights from Mevagissey as my wife had surgery in Penzance. We were very happy about the willingness to help and friendliness.
Everything was very to our satisfaction. Dinner and breakfast were good. It is a hotel for normal people who are looking for peace. You'll find it all at the Coldstreamer Inn.
I think it's worth coming back
This is an apartment that is located near the
bus/train station so access to same is
terrific. The bedroom is large, the bed comfortable and the kitchen is user friendly. We had easy and quick access to the owner on some questions and ours were answered within 15 minutes. Overall… Penzance is a great place to visit and I would certainly book this again.
The Receptionist lady was is extremely helpful
& not was too trouble.Even with my difficulties
Holiday made a real joy I needed a break
Restaurant Staff Excellent all Thanks
Pleasure when you dont have to be too concerned away
I would look for "Hotel Penzance" when around again Thanks more more to rooms excellent
We stayed here as a stop before going over to Marazion.
The view was great. We also had a fabulous dessert that evening. We also asked for a room change due to stairs, and they accommodated us immediately and helped with luggage. This is a typical, old European hotel, but was clean and met our needs.
It is a cosy place to stay close to the Penzance Railway Station. Shopping is convenient because there are quite a lot of supermarkets, groceries, bars, and shops nearby. We were offered Cornwall brand biscuits and chocolates, which were tasty. The sofa bed was a bonus, in addition to the 2 beds upstairs.
Nice boutique hotel with smiling staff and great food. Actually this was the first hotel that freshed up our room when the tag was out on the doorhandle. The bathtube was a bonus and good wifi made our stay just perfect. Definitely visit the Thai Moon restaurant next door as well.
Very comfortable and clean. I loved the in-room breakfast. Excellent shower. Good location close to Penzance promenade. Landlord kindly looked after luggage while I day-tripped. Communication with hotel very courteous and efficient.
Top location in trendy Newlyn - within walking distance from the center of Penzance. The inn itself is very clean and cozy & staff is super friendly and helpful. Also - the breakfast was delicious!
Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The property was within close walking distance to everything we needed in Penzance. We appreciated the warm welcome and fabulous breakfast!
It has parking included on the grounds of the hotel, which was handy. The location is correct, in between Penzance and Marazion. Not much to add, sorry.
